They are pricey (but for good reason – they’re better made, stronger and can accommodate larger children). You can find good information on how to choose your seat as well as well where to get a good price from a reputable seller (do it online – it’s not like you pick a size/color etc, and it’s generally cheaper too!) Just take some time to identify the criteria for the best car seat for your needs and you’ll be fine. You’ll probably end up choosing a Peg Perego Infant Car seat if you do that — it’s just the way things go. If you cant afford one, Britax is alright too, but not the same. I loved how easy it was to close it up and how the shade could cover the entire child! I am a total baby stuff “snob” and I love having unique and cool things for my baby. We bought the Maxi Cosi line of carseat and toddler stroller and love them but the stroller isn’t an umbrella stroller so it takes up the entire back of my SUV! I am campaigning for this to be my next one! I love your site and will keep coming back to check one what you have new!
