My pediatrician recommended it and doctor invented. I trust them. As for multiples, I bought one for each twin, labeled them, and my nanny and I have our own mouthpiece. MUCH better than hard bulb suction.

I also found the battery operated sucker at the store, the only problem I see with that model is not being able to control the suction. That is truly the best part about this tool! The ability to control the suction.

Do I think it is for everyone? Nope, but I do think it is a fabulous tool! Everyone who I know that has tried it loves it. You have to get over the strange factor and it is fabulous! Good luck! Care enough about your kids to get over the strange factor!

Why not sucking them out directly with the mouth? Thsi is disgusting and my husband will NEVER DO THIS ! For sure no one will use this device in a hospital! It may contaminate the caregiver even if the manufacturer say that their filter is safe….
